Best Bin I've ever had.
This bin is the 42/43L size which is the most common used black bin size so can get bags cheep, The high quality chromed lid is very stylish and attractive and the speed of opening is brilliant. Another benefit over some of the other automatic bins on the market is that it takes AA batteries where as some others take D size batteries that can sometimes be harder to get. My bin is black in colour and I absolutely love it. I would recommend this bin to anyone and everyone that has been in my house and seen it want one. One other thing to consider is you can get replacement lids should it fail out of guarantee without the cost of a complete new bin where as my friend who bought a Beldray one could not and has now bought one of these.Read full review...

Hygienic, efficient and easy to use.
After inserting the four AA batteries to operate the opening and closing of the lid, you actually NEVER touch the bin whilst throwing away any rubbish. As soon as you move your hand, containing any throw-away items, towards the lid sensor in the front, the lid automatically opens and you throw away any items, whilst the lid has opened. As soon as you move your hand away from the lid sensor, the lid automatically closes.
A little bit of the negative side of this bin is, when you are actually passing the bin, and not intending to use it, the lid sensor will detect your presence and open and close. But once you get use to that happening, there are no other problems with this bin. From a hygienic point of view, I like the idea of actually NEVER touching the bin, except when the time comes to change the bin bag when it is full.
I also recommend using Brabantia rubbish bags with this bin, because then all you do, is remove the bag, pull together the draw strings, tie it together and throw this away into your black bin in your yard. Then replace the new bin bag, and use the operating instructions of the bin to put a fresh bin liner in place. Easy-Peasy.Read full review...

Like the rectangular shape as it fit up against the wall, the sensor isn’t the greatest, you have to put your hand very close in order for the bin to open, the lid is cheap chrome plastic which looks great at the moment however over time I should imagine it will scratch easily, overall I’m happy with my purchase for what I paid.Read full review...
