Just to redress the balance...

Seeing as eBay's review system has allowed someone who hasn't even GOT this DVD set to give it one star because it's been snarled up in some kind of delivery fiasco, it seems only fair for someone else to try to review it on its actual merits.

And I do actually own a copy!

Okay, so Power of Kroll hasn't the best reputation in the world, but Ribos Operation is delightful and The Pirate Planet is a must for Douglas Adams fans.

A mixed season, but a must for fans

The Key to time is the first ever season long Dr Who story arc. It is also the only stories to feature Mary Tamm as Romana. The individual stories are a fairly mixed batch, but there are a couple of very strong stories in the mix, such as the Stones of Blood. It also features the first Dr Who story by Douglas Adams. The overall story arc is quite weak, and really not that origina in concept. A similar epic was done in the Keys of Marinus with the first Doctor, but the series is filled with little gems that make it a must for any Whovian.Read full review...
