Classic Dr Who
For many years this story was missing ,with only episode one surviving to give us taste of what is one of the best DR Who stories
Now fully restored back to glory it's brilliant ,the Doctor Victoria and Jamie find themselves suspended in space ,with a mysterious web holding the outside of the Tardis .
most of the story takes place down the London underground system ,and a combination of old black and white film footage and the creepy BBC electronic music sounds ,really add to the eerie atmosphere .
there is a strong sense of menage throughout ,the enemy is the yeti ,and they are superb as the hairy creatures who are trying to take over the world with mind control .
this episode is also the first time we see the appearance of Brigadier Leftbridge Stuart ,the man who would with the doctor in so many other great stories ,
