It's Ok!

After my washing machine developed an odour I decided to purchase this product, although this smells amazing when you open the box this did not fully translate to my machine. We still have an odour and we did all the necessary extra cleaning of the door seal and filter etc. On the initial clean the smell had receded slightly, but not completely, maybe needs a few more boxes to clean thoroughly. I have rated this as a 3 Star item, more so as it appears to be not as powerful cleaning a machine with a stronger odour, maybe if your machine is not too bad then it could give better results. Considering changing the door seal to see if that helps! Not stating I would recommend this product, but check door seal and filters first, and flush the system with a bleach wash (no clothes) and see if that brings the odour in control, leave the door open to prevent fungus and bacteria forming and allow the inner drum and seal to dry.Read full review

Doesn't work

I assumed you would get a box of this product to use several times ... Wrong, it's for one use only !! i.e £4.49 per time !! It's approx the same size packet as a cigarette packet, it arrives in a plastic sealed packet, mine was leaking into the packet so half in the (tiny) box the rest in the packaging. Put it into my musty smelling top of the range LG machine (£700) out the cycle on tub clean and emptied the box and packaging into the drum, (as per instructions) opened machine at end of programme and .... Does the job

The product is very easy to use, and you can put the next batch of washing into the machine immediately after. It certainly freshens the machine, but I had hoped it would sanitise the gunge around the door seals. It doesn’t. So more scrubbing needed.Read full review

an excellent product which works wonders in yr washing machine, to be honest i didn't think it would clean my machine the way it did, all the grime that gets built up under the rim of the drum has completely gone, it's gleaming as thgh ive scrubbed it down by hand, after use it also left a nice smell to it, i will recommend this product, as using it every couple of months will ensure my machine stays it tip top condition.Read full review

the above is about all the answer I can give, maybe it would do better in a hard water area, Cornwall has very soft water, it does remove some of what it should, but not as much as I would like.
