Don’t buy this item
Poor quality, the rubber pads distort inter tension and they are only held in place by double sided tape; they came off on second use. I have had to take the pads off, clean the glue/tape of of both pieces, then reattach with a decent glue.
The magnets a weak and don’t hold the jaws onto the vice, making it difficult to move work pieces around.
Don’t buy - go for better quality item.

Weak magnets
The softness of the jaws is what I wanted but there doesn’t seem to have been much attention the position, strength or number of magnets that hold them in place. There’s only 2 magnets, they’re pretty small and weak plus they’re aligned almost perfectly with the screws that hold the steel jaws in place. Cheap and cheerful-ish
Magnets are not strong enough really, holds them on, just don’t knock them! The rubber pads unstick very quickly, however, they are slightly dovetailed and because of that haven’t fallen off.
All that said, they do what they’re designed for and are certainly better than nothing. After all, they’re cheap.Read full review

Don't be drawn in.
