As per instructions this is best used on small weeds and the unit needs close contact with the weed. It will burn of the top growth of grass but grass can grow back as this is a characteristic of most grasses. Think about summer scorch and drought conditions. One consideration is the extension flew and the unit need to be used in Dry condition and not when there is a chance of rain. Us with a RCD circuit breaker. Not as powerful to shrivel weeds as I thought it would do so I am disappointed.

Good product

It burns weeds but does take long. Holding it for long time give pain in arms. Temp fix. Still needed weed killer and pulled out by hand the big weeds/ grass. Very Time consuming.

Forget the gas canister wand weed killers, this iS FANTASTIC!

I’m delighted with this product! I wasted lots of money buying the ones which needed the gas canisters. I bought 4 as I thought it was a good idea to bulk buy the canisters. However they didn’t last long at at all! This appliance is sturdier made, still lightweight but far more efficient in dealing with the weeds. In fact I’m going to be buying another one for my son as he did like the gas canister ones either! So much better than using weed killer and is a huge incentive to buy this. Cheap at the price, not much on electricity and more environmentally friendly. HOWEVER a much, much longer cable would be absolutely amazing! Read full review...
