Generally good - but...
From a brand I have come to choose for good value and quality. This product has only one minor flaw in my experience:
Sometimes shut-off is very sudden and can induce water hammer in our pipes (which nothing else - even the washing machine - does). Maybe any mechanical water timer would do the same.
If you leave the coupling to the tapnot quite tight this overcomes the problem but does squirt a little water on shut-off.Read full review...

Draper mechanical water / tap timer
This timer is mechanical..no batteries or electronic bits.
Not super accurate..can't be set for days or regular periods on off.
Simple..use on the day..whilst shopping/ DIY and water the plants for a fixed time... up too 2 hours.. can be set at manual.. just stays on. Ideal for watering whenever unattended or filling troughs etc

Excellent quality water timer.
Although twice the cost of some other mechanical water timers, this on replaces my previous cheap timer that had issues, so you get what you pay for, no leaks and a perfect fit to the outside tap threads and the “hose lock” style of hose connection.
It’s a small matter, that the dial is marked in 15min segments so I have to guess the few minutes that I use to water my garden, but still very pleased with my purchase 👍
Tip: removed the timer and store inside in the winter, the water residue that is left in the valve freezes and blows the valve open so it leaks and therefore unable to be used again.

There is also a manual setting so you can attach the timer and use the tap as normal aswell as setting the timer which not many other timers have

Nearly but not quite
The timing bit works well but it reduces the flow of water. For me, that means my irrigators don't work with the timer included in the system.
