Good, but needed expert help to make it work, so beware if you don't have it or read below!

Had Draytek ADSL routers before and thought I knew what I was doing. Couldn't make it connect and my ISP was useless-they don't support "foreign" routers. They don't support their own but that's another subject!. Got support from a forum that suggested I set the VLAN to 101,(factory default is none which didn't work). Hey presto it worked, accept that the router correctly deleted my ISP password, but at least my router reported a password/username error. Excellent performance, but would have saved a bit more for the 2860ac, had I known about it with its reputed significant improvement in wifi performance. P performance now limited by n class Wifi. Just as good as earlier Draytek ADSL routers, just menus a bit different and some things are more difficult to find. Draytek could be more helpful by setting the factory VLAN setting to something that worked or adding a note in the documentation somewhere.......Read full review
