Much lighter and easier to use.
This chair is far lighter than my old steel one. The 20" seat width makes it comfortable for me and it's rated to carry my 20 stone weight. My wife assures me that it's easier to push. The fact that the wheels can come off means that it's easier to store it in those awkward spaces when it's folded up..Read full review...

Lightweight but sturdy
Bought this wheelchair to take Mum out a couple of times a week as she is no longer able to walk much outside. She is a tall lady with quite a wide frame so struggled to find a chair with a wide and high seat. (Her previous wheelchair was a bit low and rather snug in the seat) Mum is 5'8" and this suits her perfectly and the foot rests could be extended so she feels comfortable.
