I like the older 3.5 Monster manual it gives the imgination something to hold onto without so much detail to be restrictive. Played with it through my collage years and now I have a replacement.

With all the different editions of D&D, the third edition monster manual is still very user friendly. Wizards offers a free supplement to upgrade the manual to 3.5. No need to spend a fortune on the 3.5 or 4th edition of this title!!Read full review...

Monster Manual (2000)

I bought it for my kids. They love it. The illustrations and color seem to be of high quality. The cost is high, but when there is small demand I understand the need to charge more.
