Dunkirk is a good film. The first time I watched it, it was a little confusing. But, in the end it all comes together. I need to watch it a second time to understand all of the finer nuances.

This film tells it like it was in WWII.

This is not an epic film. It had to keep within the constraints of actual history and to depict it in the form of individual stories which tries to convey an overview of events from what is known. The able photography, direction, and editing show the scope of these events in the stories and characters and make the film worth watching to those interested in this piece of history.
