Had a Dyson before but getting a bit old
The old one had a straight lead and was easy to pass through the cupboards, the new lead has a 45 degree angle that makes it much more difficult to use the same route as the first one.
Also the plug that goes into the cleaner is a different size from the old cleaner so you have to use the new mains lead.
