So good I bought a 2nd one!

I was so impressed that I got another one for my very pregnant daughter. A brilliant product! Particularly like the timer feature - very useful at night time.

Looks brand new, only difference was the electrical cable wasn’t banded, but hey , if I can save a fortune and stay cool, what’s not to like?

A little underwhelmed

I purchased this recently as I live in a new build flat so it gets very very hot. The delivery was incredibly fast and it looks brand new it’s also a lot bigger than I imagined which was a welcomed surprise. The functionality is great however it’s definitely not silent no matter what speed it’s on! It also feels like it’s blowing the hot air around.. so for almost £200 it is a little underwhelming.. I LOVE my Dyson fan

This fan is fantastic! I no longer dread the hot summer nights as I now have the fan on alongside my bed and I am kept lovely and cool all night. The air is smooth and cool and the fan is practically silent on the low settings. Put it on level 4 and you here the fan but it is a low hum and I could certainly sleep with it but I only need level 1. The timer is a wonderful and the remote control makes life so much easier with not having to get out of bed to switch it off. Yes the fan is expensive but compared to an ordinary fan, there is no competition. As I will have the hot flushes for some years to come, this was a worthy investment. I also have restless legs when they get hot and the fan has been a huge help to keep my legs cool so they don't fidget in the night. Dyson AM06 fan, thoroughly recommended.

This is the second of these fans I’ve bought and plan to buy a third (one for each bedroom). It’s a brilliant fan, quiet, powerful, lightweight, great aesthetically pleasing design with no blades or gaps for children to poke things into so very safe. Remote control is very useful.

Powerful and quiet, except when On top (10) setting as it’s bit noisy then.

Very quiet ideal for bedroom

I have bought various fans for the bedroom and all seem quiet until your in a dark quiet room with little to no outside noise. I started with the standard cheap fans I then checked reviews and went for the Honeywell quietset which is pretty good and a good bit cheaper than the Dyson. The model I have is most definitely the best I have come across. On it's lower settings which is fine when in bed it is virtually silent. When ramped up it is noiser but that is more the air being forced out which you will always get .
In conclusion very happy with purchase and if it's in your budget so will you be. But appreciate it is expensive for a fan.Read full review...

Hard to tell the difference from new item

Already owning one bought new last year this latest acquisition has been tried alongside its new counterpart and performs almost exactly the same. Only the timer differs by a few seconds. Not surprisingly we found the remote operated both fans, effectively synchronizing the operation of both fans used in the same room. Expensive product but well worth it in my opinion. More powerful than most fans and appears to cool the air instead of circulating warm air. This item cooled down the whole bedroom which is essential in this warm weather. Fan tilts forwards and backwards to channel air in specific direction or area and it also oscillates.
