Superb at half the price

I recently replaced my vacuum cleaner with this Dyson and the first time I used it I had only just finished cleaning but the Dyson still managed to get a full container of dust and dog hair out of the carpets. Lighter than previous model and more agile I bought this reconditioned model and cannot fault it, works as good as a new model and comes with a 2 year guarantee, bonus. NEW or OLD

I love my old Dyson hoover but it is getting a bit old now and heavy.
So treated myself to a new ball type Dyson. I don't know...it does not move as smooth as I would have thought!
It is just as heavy...and it is hard to get it onto its little wheelie stand..I hope I can get use to it , as it cleans just as good as the Dyson's we all know and love.Read full review

Dyson DC4 Lightweight Ball

Bought this to replace my 1st generation Dyson bought all those years ago. I was a bit hesitant as my sister has one of the giant sized ball Dyson's which I find very difficult to use. However, the lightweight Dyson ball is a joy. We have 2 huge hairy dogs and several cats. The Lightweight copes perfectly with all that excess dog hair! My only complaint is that it doesn't reach under the bed and sofa as well as the older, flat Dyson. All in all, it's a great vacuum. Up to the usual exc Dyson spec. My least liked Dyson

This is our 3rd Dyson vacuum cleaner bought to replace an old model with a damaged hose & we wanted a lighter onte to carry upstairs. It is, though still heavy.
The suction is very powerful and near impossible to use on a deep pile rug.
Hard to steer, & those little back wheels catch on floor bars then tip the vacuum up.

Lightweight but flimsy

The DC40 delivers on power great suction and easy to use. My only concern is that in the attempt to make it lightweight it has become flimsy. However with a five year guarantee this eases my concerns

Lighter to use than other Dysons
