A little gem

Bought one of these previously from maplins and loved it hence purchase, regardless of some negative comments I always found this perfect for polishing and repairing majority of discs and this item reinforced that opinion. So long as not damaged on label side this this can improve all but the most badly scratched of discs, dvds, games etc. Will say to other buyers if sent in post connect power up but leave idle for 10 minutes as prone to minor damp in motor but once dry it is a real little gem. Beyond Useless.

A very easy to use item, that is the only good thing I can say. If this removes anything from discs it is unnoticeable. Made no difference whatsoever to any of the lightly scuffed discs I attempted to repair . It actually made one of them worse, the so called "Cleaning Pads" put more scratches in.

Before use the game disc was picked up by my xbox 360 but was unplayable. After "Repairing" with this item the same disc is no longer detected and has more scratches than it did to start.Read full review

Useful accessory for your CDs and DVDs

works well, does what it promises.
The magnetic locating of the discs really helped in the setting up at each stage.
don't let the appearance of the discs at the end of the process fool you, the CD playing is unaffected and use is restored.

For £20 don't expect much. It cleans new disks and that's about it. If you have a new disk with a miniscule scratch it might repair it.

Games disks returned to new

We looked to buy this in local stores but no one stocked it. We were advised in several places that they were a waste of money and didn't work. Found this on the net there were cheaper versions. Followed the instructions, first time didn't work percevired and continued as the instruction said. Third time through the machine although there were still scratches it worked really well.
