E=TECH saves the day

Fantastic!! I got this to re-coat lamps after using restore kit that gave you a sponge to apply a sachet of coating which was disastrous as coating got tacky in a fraction of a second, I re-done the lamps and sprayed them in E-TECH and they look brand new, high shine and smooth like glass.. Even if you get another brand restore kit for your lamps. get a can of E-TECH clear coat , especially if you get given a sachet of clear coat and a piece of sponge in the kit. Read full review...

Very low quality

So firstly the IPA wipe was bone dry, so couldn’t use that.

After restoring my headlights to brand new condition, I used this spray in near perfect conditions for painting, and inline with instructions.

The result was a very cloudy, uneven finish which virtually took the lenses back to pre sanding/ polishing standard. I tried machine polishing the finish, but that didn’t help.

I sanding back, and repeated the process again in case user error slipped in- same again.

I’ve just thrown it away.

Great quality and easy to use

This is the best thing for restoration of headlights. Great results easy to use.
Forget buying those cheap kits all you need is this, T cut/polishing compound and wet/dry abrasive paper. For any one who is unfamiliar with how to use any of the above watch a few YouTube videos and you will get the hang of it.Read full review...

UV protection fails after 12 months

I went sanded and correctly prepped a pair of S Class headlights, and then re coated with this. The little 200ml cans are only enough for one headlight with 2 coats. Had to order a 2nd can. The finish at this point was good - crystal clear. However 12mths later the headlight has heavily yellowed again, although the lacquer remains glossy. It has begun to lift in a few places. The UV protective aspect of the lacquer is not sufficient. Read full review...

Disappointing Headlight Coating

I recently purchased a headlight Clear coating with high hopes of rejuvenating and protecting my car's headlights. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has been nothing short of disappointing, turning out to be a complete waste of both money and time.

Upon application, the coating initially appeared to provide a glossy and protective layer to the headlights, giving them a refreshed look. However, my optimism quickly turned to frustration as the coating started reacting with moisture in the air. The result? A cloudy and hazy finish that rendered my headlights worse off than before.

This unexpected reaction with humidity not only negated any positive effects but also left me with a significant loss of both financial investment and the time I dedicated to the restoration process. The coating's failure to withstand basic environmental conditions, such as moisture, makes it, in my opinion, a poorly designed and ineffective product.

In conclusion, I would strongly advise against investing in this particular headlight lens coating. Its inability to withstand normal weather conditions makes it a regrettable purchase that falls short of delivering the promised results. Save yourself the frustration and opt for a more reliable and durable alternative.

Not sure what to expect from it

I followed the instructions on the spray can. First coat and the headlight looks good. On the instructions doesn`t say how many coats to apply, So I decided to do two-three light coats because its a headlight and its on harsh environment when driving. After second and third coat the headlight become matt. Have a look at the photos. Looks really good after one light coat, but I`m pretty sure its not enough and not the whole surface of the headlight is covered.Read full review...

Definitely worth a go before replacing headlight or lens

I was initially nervous of using this product due to reading a number of poor reviews online. Knowing that my newly refurbished headlights would soon start to fade I decided to go for it. The results are excellent, so pleased I did.
Just follow the instructions, the lens may initially look a bit hazy but apply liberally. Mine dried crystal clear and look like new.
Time will tell how well the UV protection works.

AVOID THIS PRODUCT

As per many other peoples reviews I fouud this product to be so bad I ended up throwing it away.
After restoring the headlights to a like new condition, I used this product following the instructions and found it left such a poor quality, misty finish I had to re-sand and polish the headlights to get them back to being clear again.
I would never recommend this product to anyone. AVOID THIS PRODUCT.

Not worth it, better results without

If you follow the directions and spray 8 to 12 inches away you will be left with a dry spray resulting in a cloudy frosted headlight. The only way to get a clear lens is it spray it 4 inches away but even then it went hazy in places, don't know if it's the paint or the spray can but I wouldn't recommend it.Read full review...

Quite good.

I used this strictly as per the instructions. I put on 4 coats but it turned out clear but frosted. It was warm and dry. Anyway it is an improvement but I really don't know where I went wrong.
