EMPI Carburetor,34 PICT-3,12V 1600cc ,113-129-031KE, VW

Replaced a 30 yr old Solex 34 PICT-3

My original VW carburetor would not idle, but the engine felt good at cruise speed.
I tuned forever on the old carb, removed it and cleaned it nothing changed.

When I static set the Empi 34mm PICT 3 and turned the key, the engine started and idled even when cold.
