ESI 2 Port 22mm Zone Valve - ESZV222L

Good price, good warranty and quickly detachable head.

A good price and a 5 year warranty has encouraged me to buy a number of these valves, so far I have not had to test the warranty but the longest install is only 2 years.

The valve has a quickly detachable head. With the head off getting spinners on to the body and pipe nuts is easier than trying to work around the head in place. The flats on the body are about 27mm across but on the pair I bought one valve was slightly over so a 27mm spanner would not fit. A more accurate dimension on these flats would make the product even better.

2 port valve with 5 year warranty

A decent 5 year warranty, usual 1 year. After many years of using this type of valve, motor burn outs have been a plague, Honeywell, Horstmann and nondescript makes all suffered with same problem. Fitted into existing installation without problem.Time will tell if it lives up to its claim of being better.Read full review
