Really Works!
We bought some table lamps with cut out design shades, so you could see the G9 bulb - very pretty effect but the bulb was so bright it would give you a migraine! We thought we'd have to send them back, but we tried these dimmers - they are amazing! We can now have our beautiful lamps adjusted, giving a soft glow and not a glare. Really simple to use - just plug in and turn the dial up or down to suit you. A really brilliant gadget!Read full review

Unsuitable product
I purchased this dimmer for some bright LED lights but nowhere on the website did it say that this product was unsuitable for LED lights.
Upon receipt I read the instructions which clearly stated that it was unsuitable for LED lights so this product is no good for me.
It should state in CAPITALS that it is unsuitable for LED lights.Read full review

Did not work
Product did not work properly. Did not dim led lights and unfortunately ended up in the recycling bin. Wish I was leaving positive feedback as I’m still left to source an alternative.

It works as it should
Just what I wanted. All my older plug-in dimmers would not lower the lights down low enough. This one will reduce it down to no light at all (even on a 3 bulb standard lamp).
Please note, I only bought these for use with standard incandescent or halogen lamps. I don't know how it works (if at all) with LEDsRead full review

Voltage knob is fiddly to use. Also when I switched on all 6 bulbs in my lamp blew.
