Buzz away as soon as its plugged in, dial makes for a jerky and flickering light change and thats with dimmable bulbs, good for the bin

A budget dimmer
This dimmer does exactly what is expected of it and progressively cotrols the output as the knob is rotated. I am using it to vary the heat output from a 150W heat lamp wwhich it does perfectly.
