Good product that keeps the calcium away.
Neat little ball that keeps the machine drum from furring up, so I assume it keeps the heating element free of any build up. Just one thing I noticed is that it goes out of shape, this happens after only a few washes but manages to last a number of years like it. Does not work!
My washer is less than 4 month's old, used this product from the very first wash, washer is cleaned regularly (at least once a month) i recently did a tub clean on it and the filter was full of limescale. These magnetic anti limescale products do not work! Waste of money! Read full review

Magnoball
I'd recommend everyone uses the ecoball. I use it in every wash as it keeps my washing from tangling up. Once every month I run my washer with just the ecoball.
