Tramming up the head of a Bridgeport Milling Machine or any other adjustable vertical head, is so easy using this device. Pop it in the collett or drill chuck, calibrate the device with the setting gauge supplied, a 2 minute job. Place the indicator stylus direct onto the machine table or vice, adjust the head until both gauges read the same, so simple. Sure beats the old way of having to swing a dial indicator.
Highly recommend buying this, in a production environment, this will soon pay for itself in the time saved setting the head back to vertical.
