Nearly really good!

The book has some lovely patterns which are on the whole easy to follow. I have knocked off a star because the patterns do not specify how much wool of each colour for each bird. There is a table at the front giving approximate amounts of total wool needed, hook size and and wool weight for the size of bird you want to make, however I find it really annoying that amounts of each colour are not given for each pattern. This could easily be given as a proportion eg 50% colour a, 25%b, 25% colour c on each pattern, so the sizing charts don’t need repeating for each bird. Really frustrating, entailed revisiting yarn shop and then overbought to save a further visit. So much for decreasing yarn stash!!Read full review...
