It works

I bought this for my Mum's so she can wire a plug more easily and cut the wire just the right amount instead of all the way through

Beware!

Well, first thing is that the picture is misleading. It shows a bigger picture of a tool that crimps insulated and non-insulated. What you actually get is the one in the background that is different. I've messaged the company and requested they change the picture.
Secondly the first crimp I used it for (a red insulated one) must have been some sort of super-crimp as the jaws on this tool just buckled and bent out of shape. Had to finish the job with trusty old pliers.
Delivery was ok at a few days, but product is really bad even at this price. Not worth time/effort to return.

Cheap but not the best tool I have bought

The product is low cost but the stripping function does not cope with standard UTP phone wire as the smallest diameter is too large. Probably OK for Coax but the blades are too blunt to cut the coax that I have easilyRead full review...

You get what you pay for

Not very sturdy but will do for very light use, no good for crimping as it just folds. It doesn't strip thin wire and folds when you try something a bit thicker. If you want something that works spend the extra few quid.Read full review...

Basic and cheap

Very lightweight, the metal is a bit thin and does bend when crimping. I would only use when the connections will be static and not put under load as it seems incapable of making a good, durable, secure crimp. But then it is cheap.
Backup tool, in a pinch, but redo them when you have a proper ratchet tool.

Works but a bit flimsy

I guess you get what you pay for. This tool works okay but the metal is quite thin and it feels a bit flimsy; I suspect it may not last a long time but it was cheap

Looks good but not up to the job

Does what it says on the tin but not very well. Slots overlap when cutting wire and doesn't seem sharp enough.

As poor as it is cheap!!

Rubbish quality, buckles straight away when crimping. No chance of cutting any wire with these. Would definitely advise a more expensive heavy duty set

A useful but not sturdy crimping tool

Trying to crimp Marklin74995 is difficult as the part needing crimping is about 5mm wide and the tool is 2 mm. So any slight offset means a lot of effort into twisting rather than crimping. I also find the shape of the crimping edge is changing, this is after about 20 crimps!Read full review...

Rubbish tool

Rubbish. Very cheaply made. Used it once then it fell to bits . Please don't buy. Get better from pound shop.
