Very versatile, best-in-class vocoder

It's a clever, versatile product.

If you set the band count very high (up to 256), the vocoder bands are very narrow, giving a more detailed vocoder sound. However, in some cases, if the mic (modulator) doesn't have much in common with the instrument (carrier) his could mean that some unexpected resonance in some seemingly random frequency. This is normal. You can either lower the bands or rethink the carrier (what you are singing, e.g.).

My only purely cosmetic gripe is that the LED indicator lights aren't all sticking out the same amount. It's fine though. I wish there was a knob to control the mic level (as opposed to a 2-position toggle), the fact that it includes 40v phantom is a big plus.Read full review...
