Lush Analog Delay

I now have two Memory Mans, one for a short delay/eight notes, one for a long delay/Quarter notes, i use them independently and also simultaneously. They are very lush, deeper and darker than a lot of digital delays that I have, replica, DD5. Very quiet considering they are analog, built like a tank, a big foot print however. Lots of control over the repeats, from short to so long that the repeats can build upon each other and create a huge ground swell of sound so thick that if you don't back off on the feedback control you can blow up your amp, very cool.Read full review

Great analog delay!!

Sweet pedal, not overrated, a tad too expensive but nothing can touch it. Boss has nice delays but this is definitely worth it. Warm reverbs nice chorus and true bypass. Won’t mess with your tone. Best grab one before it’s gets any higher in price. It holds it value too. Great investment, the older , the better…Read full review

EHX, 3 in 1 pedal.

EHX Memory Man Deluxe XO, analog delay, chorus & tremolo. 24 volt, very built, sturdy case. Has overload LED light. I should bought / invested this first. Goes my Blues / Rock effects I need. Keep in plain & simple, true organic sounds. Still getting familiar with the adjustments, slight Reverb & Univibe. Enjoy.Read full review

Great Analog Mod-Echo unit for a good price

The Deluxe Memory Man (DMM) is a vintage analog mod- echo unit that has a dark organic vintage analog sound....it works well as a compliment to a brighter chorus unit where depth in the sound comes from the Memory man echo with the focus of the sound coming from the brighter chorus....very nice....i use the DMM with a Red Witch Empress Chorus...they pair well.Read full review

A True Classic

This is the definitive analog delay pedal. I also have a Boss DM-2W, which is superb. However, I give the edge to the DMM for its modulation capabilities. I also slightly favor the somewhat brighter tone of the DMM's repeats. If you don't need the chorus and vibrato, however, the DM-2W may be the way to go as it gives you up to 800ms of delay time in custom mode. The DM-2 is also more compact. Still, nothing quite sounds like the DMM! The XO version is the same circuit as the discontinued big box DMM. As long as it is calibrated correctly, there should be no real audible difference between the newer and older version.Read full review
