Lightweight and good value

For the money this wheelchair is OK, as a permanent wheelchair user it suits my needs for what I want it for (not my main, full time use wheelchair). My only gripe is with the footplate height adjustment securing bolts - I have set them to the desired height but even using a socket set, the plates still move out of position. Can't understand why this manufacturer has gone away from the tried and tested method used by most manufacturers - fortunately (as an engineer) I am able to modify the clamping method to make it more secure. However, it's important to note that this is my only gripe - the wheelchair is certainly lightweight and overall good value, even knowing what I know now I would still buy it.Read full review...

Just what we needed

We were looking for a light weight chair for a part time wheelchair user and this ticks all the boxes. Great comfortable wheelchair. Not designed for occupant use only when going up kerbs/tipping back as it doesn't have any anti tip back little wheels.
