I had very high expectation for this cables, it seemed very well built. I used a pair of these cables for dj'ing with powered speakers 2 times a week for the past 4 months. If you're going to connect it and rarely disconnect it, these are great. If your going to be connecting them weekly to speakers on trip-pods, even using gaffer tap to tape the cable to the pole to prevent the weight of the heavy cable from putting too much stress on the connections going into the speaker. The wires become twisted inside the XLR connection and eventually disconnect or break inside. Usually the male connection first. The fix to this bad design, is re-soldering the wires to the XLR connectors and putting a reinforcing rubber jacket between the cable and the connection. Maybe upgrading the connection to Neutrik Gold and ditching the cheap plastic XLR connections might help too.
