lightweight and comfy

I would highly recommend this wheelchair, it is lightweight easy to push and get in the car and the quality is fabulous, my husband says it extremely comfortable and padded well. Another great feature is the brakes on the handles, marvelous when going down a slope. Well worth buying if considering a lightweight chair.

It is lightweight, has good features such as the lift up arms: the cushion makes it comfortable for the occupant. That said it has several undesirable features. The 8 inch ultra narrow front castors accentuate and create problems from even the slightest of surface imperfections. The seat is raked for comfort but this puts the centre of gravity in the wrong place - in short, it is not impossible for the occupant to tip this wheelchair over backwards if it is left unattended on relatively modest slopes or ramps. The light frame flexes. Any tall carer will find the handles far too low. It is a shame that the shortcomings detract from its otherwise excellent specification.Read full review...

Lightweight aluminium wheelchair is easy to assemble and lift into car. The option of being able to get wider wheels would be a plus, as the front wheels are a bit narrow. Chair arrived next day, great. Put together easily, great. Good design, well. All was well until I took mother out and found that you can't go up or down a step or stair as the foot lever at the back beside the wheels are too long and sit on the step preventing the wheels from rolling.
