Not big enough for a large study Bible

Don't let the dimensions fool you into thinking this will fit the average chunky study Bible produced today. And too tall for a good fit on the NIV Daily Bible. It did fit my hardback Life With God Bible and my Harper Collins Study Bible which are a little smaller than my many. This is size LARGE, not Extra Large which is generally what you need for most study Bibles.

Case seems nice enough. No attached ribbon marker inside. Handle is man-made material. The cover I received is not patchwork style but standard which is nice. Zippers work smoothly. I wish they would make an extra-large size in both burgundy and black; also brown would be awesome too, which I prefer to black.Read full review

OK for the money

For the price, the cover is OK. It is not a finely made, luxurious piece of work. It is genuine leather, but is sewn together patchwork style from many smaller individual pieces of leather which is difficult if not impossible to see in the product photograph. Genuine Leather Bible Cover

I have had my favorite Bible since I was a freshman in high school. Going to a Catholic School, it was required and many students just threw them into their lockers and I'm sure many were destroyed which distresses me greatly. Not having access to a laminate machine for my Bible, I used wide packing tape which has yellowed over the years, and all I'll say it has been over twenty. Not that I carry my Bible every where but in this day and age I probably should, the cover is safe and sturdy and gives it wonderful protection. The price was very affordable and offers classy style of the cover which can hold its own above many others out there and it has an extra packet to carry odds and ends like a license or money. I love this new covering as it keeps my Bible completely covered and also helps it from being damaged any more than it has been. I'm very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to others, not only as a Bible cover but at times it could be used as a small purse if need be. I love it!

Leather Bible Cover

This is a wonderful leather item. I bought 2 of them. My husband likes his also. Made of a nice soft leather. It holds our Bibles fine. All a person has to do is measure their Bible before they order and they won't have a problem with this. My Bible is a little larger than my husband's, but it still fits great and have room to zip it up.

Weak zippers but good leather.

Zippers weak, but at this low price I don't mind. I use these to extend the life of classroom bibles. Absorbs shock, sheer and all manner of force.
