Emmylou Harris has one of those timeless voices that transcends generations, she sounds equally at home singing with some old timers like Willie Nelson and Roy Orbison and yet steps it out well with a more rocky country band like The Desert Rose Band. Perhaps she's a tad too laid back in some of the numbers and becomes a bit of a backing vocalist but the CD is a great buy for those tracks she shines in.Read full review...
