gorgeous fireside with quirky features. pick colour of your choice!
Was looking for a contemporary but modern fireside and this one fits the bill perfectly. Loads of different settings for surround internal colour and different brightness levels so def a combination to suit every ones needs. Looks really great but in my case only one negative.! Advertised as Cream surround but after reading another reviewers comment about receiving a white one kept an open mind. Wow and behold i too also received a white surround and NOT Cream as advertised! Pity really as is a lovely fireside but cream would have matched my colour co-ordination better. But still giving this unit 5 stars as very good value for the money.Read full review

Great appearance and flame effect but rattling of fan is very loud and annoying.
When product arrived i was quite impressed with it's appearence and the patented flame effect was quite good, however when the flame effect is on the fan is very noisey clicking all the time , up to the point that we have to turn it off after only a few minutes as it's very noisey. we love this fire, the surround and flame effect are brill and the added. surround lights are a great feature. now for the only two issues, it is white and not cream as advertised and now on to the biggest let down, the fan heater is noisey, we would have not bought this if we knew, but we love evrything about it apart from the fan, if is a really big shame, it really lets it down. if they ever sort this out it will perfect.Read full review

It’s amazing, the flames are very realistic and you have the option of illuminating the surround which was built, start to finish in about an hour. The fire comes with a remote with various settings, including heating, lighting, flame height etc. The only drawback is the controls on the fire itself are so well hidden and for me, hard to see.Read full review

This fire is fantastic for the money. I wanted a fireplace that would look great with a very realistic flame effect at a reasonable price. The Castleton Electric Fireplace exceeded my expectations in every regard. The very realistic log fire flame effect is wonderful and encourages you to lay out in front of it on a cold winters` evening. We love this fire it looks clean and stylish and much more expensive than it cost, we have had lots of really nice comments from our visitors. The pebbles are great and it gives out plenty of heat. Looks great stood against the wall although w have had it inset into our fire place either is fine. It was so easy take it out the box Andre plug it in. The reviews on the product page did not match the fire, i.e. No remote control, coloured lights around the edge or bits to fit together! I have spent days walking around shops and trying to get something under £300 that looks as close to real fireplace as possible, then just blindly bought this one fully trusting reviews and wasn't disappointed.
Fairly easy to assemble, extra functionality allows you to preset what time on which week day it should run, what temperature, adjust level of lightning, mood colour etc.

I LOVE my new fireplace . I put this on my wish list a couple of years ago but never had the money to buy it at the time . I am so glad I have now purchased it . I wanted a warm cosy glow for the winter coming in . The log and flame effect are excellent and the mood lighting makes it even better .
