Broke down

I was puzzled when the low battery flash kept happening even though the batteries were new, but puzzlement turned to annoyance when the whole unit packed up.
Carefully inspected the terminals, tried different new batteries, nothing. Completely dead.
I expected more from a supposedly good make.
I've got cheap head torches I've had for years, they are simple, robust things and should not break down like this. Read full review...

Well made and good value for money.

As far as head torches go this a a very good one.

It's sturdy but lightweight enough to not bother you when it needs to be used for extended periods of time.

The AAA batteries are easy to source anywhere and can also find rechargeable versions for little cost.

The strap is good.

The switch is pretty decent too

The only negative in my opinion is that if the two available settings (high - low), low, is a bit on the dim side. So if you are of a certain age and beyond perhaps you will have to use the higher setting that drains batteries faster.

Very useful with long battery life

This has proved to be immensely helpful during my caliber rebuild on my motorcycle. With short days I needed some lighting and this has been great. It has 2 modes one dimmer the other brighter and for most purposes the dimmer light is enough. I needed a couple of new headlights and had to wade through the listings of those with motion activated facilities, etc. More things to go wrong or cause issues. These are excellent quality and straightforward. They have two settings. Full power which lights up quite a distance and a slightly dimmer option. For my purposes they are better than my older ones because I only ever want a white consistent light.
