Enigma - one to look out for

first of all, i'd like to be totally honest and admit that this is for my girlfreind and i havn't actually listened to it. My girlfreind absolutely loves it and she must play it nearly every day. she says that the fusion of a wide range of instruments and modern beats gives a truly breath taking experince that leaves you feeling relaxed and satisfied. Great CD!Read full review...

For the next hour I will be taking you on a Journey

I was born in 1974, leaving school and joining the big wide world 16yrs later in 1990, when this album came out.

At the time it pulled upon influences on current beats and trends, but such was the impressions of an older, wiser music, it transcends time and mode.

For those who speak basic French, with the odd word of Latin paraphrased in, it feels it's way through to give an experience that was best fit to the technology of the time, the record. Although dated at that time, when CDs were widely available, this album is best enjoyed with the 'Play' option only.

Let the creator guide through a time blessed with emotion, and enjoy the ride.

Enigma MCMXC a.d

Quite simply my favourite ever album of all time, if you dont have it in your cd collection you should do, because you dont know what you are missing! Definately an album to sit and relax with, with a glass of wine after a long day. This album still sends shivers down my spine whenever I listen to it. Incredible music and vocals.Read full review...

Essential album that needs to be in your collection!

First and probably the best Enigma album. I don't even think Michael Cretu realised just how good this album would become to be. Infact this album launched the whole idea of Michael Cretu's 'Enigma' into the charts and made 'Enigma' a worldwide success. MCMXC A.D isn't just an album, its more like a life-guide. I would imagine anyone with a large cd album collection would own this album. I couldn't recommend this album enough, its simply needs to be in your cd collection...Read full review...

Review

Having converted most of my old CD collection to CD I was thrilled to find this music gem in digital format. If you listen this on nice music system, you will impression. I was, however, disappointed by the lack of extras, which any fan of this classic would expect to be included. There's only a simple interview with the director and other shot "making-of" vignettes.I decided to buy because is nice CD and cheap from second hand :-)Read full review...

Great chillout album

This would have to be one of my favourite albums ever, and was my first choice for chillout music for years. I loved this album so much I wore the tape out and had to replace it with CD.

The only recommendation I have about this album is don't listen to it on shuffle. The album is a musical journey.Read full review...
