Awesome product! Got 30 fleas off my dog the first time I used it.
After I am pretty convinced that my dog was affected by the toxins in spot-on pesticide treatment 'Advantage' causing ongoing neurological problems (noise reactions/tremors), I have tried everything to get rid of fleas, diatomaceous earth (DE), essential oils of peppermint, that specific cedar oil etc, baking powder, vacuuming, lemon spray, washing my dog daily, nothing really worked until I bought this - I used it for the first time yesterday and got 30 fleas off my dog in one go! Awesome product. I will use it regularly now and then occasionally to prevent a future infestation. It's so simple to use and my dog actually likes it! Thank you! Read full review

Faulty product.
This product did not detect any fleas on my dogs. But that maybe because although the first time I switched it on it worked with the comb locked in place. The second time I switched it on it seemed to be dead, but batteries are new. I unlocked the comb and it worked only when comb was half way out, but could not be used like that. I have no evidence of fleas on pets, other than them scratching, which of course could be a number of other things, Tics, mites, biting lice, or even Mange or a skin allergy. If it does work on fleas, I believe the price for it could be slightly lower based on my experience of it not being made to a good quality standard. Of course most people would be dissatisfied enough to return product for a replacement, which I would do too if I had seen it killed fleas. So I can not say if it actually works or not. I can only express an opinion based on my experience of it being faulty upon my second time of turning it on. One dog was not bothered by the high pitched hum that it gives out, while the other dog ran from it. Same with my two cats. I hope other people find success and do not have a faulty product.Read full review

Flea zapper
This is my second flea zapper in 12 months. They work very well on my cat but I struggled to get it through my chocolate labs coat even after giving her a good brush before hand, the Teath on the comb seem to be too fine and short for her coat. The first zapper I bought shattered when I dropped it on the floor. I lso had to use tape across the battery compartment lid to stop it flying off when accidently touching the green release button. All said and done this is still a very good product for cats and may work well on smaller dogs with short hair. Beats using harmful chemicals on are pets. Colin Read full review

Flea problem fixer
Because the summer has been so dry I have had a problem with Fleas on my 3 dogs. I have been treating them as normal every month with Advantex but the fleas still seem to want to hang around so I was looking for a non chemical why of trying to sort the problem. This Flea zapper seems to work well if used with care and on a daily bases until you get on top of the problem. If used carefully it does the job and I think was a good buy and less dangerous than over doing the chemical flea treatment and much cheaper.Read full review

Dog friendly
Makes a soft buzzing noise, but doesn't frighten the dog. He actually wags his tail when it's brought out . Had a particularly resistant set of fleas, and using this with a flea control has almost eradicated them. Still doing him every day, but zapping just the odd one now. Read full review

Fab product.
I read the reviews, good and bad, and am pleased to say this product worked perfectly. My cat is white so I thought I could tell if he had fleas but this comb picked up 8 fleas on the 1st day! My cat didn't mind the high pitched noise that it makes but I did let him see and sniff it b4 and I combed him a few times with it turned off so he would be used to it. Read full review

Best treatment for fleas.
I've been using the leading brands of flea treatment. My cats are now elderly and not tolerating the treatments as well, so I got this to try and used it a few days after using spot on and couldn't believe my cats still had fleas. Will only use this from now on.Read full review

Cannot say for sure if it works good. I ...
Cannot say for sure if it works good. I could not get even a single flee with it, but maybe because anti flee drops worked or I could not reach all the places where they could hide because my cat has strict rules where you can touch him )) Although it seems that I could get lots of flee eggs out of him)) Read full review

Zap!
My cat picked up a particularly nasty, tough set of fleas in the last two months. Not knowing about this kind of device I tried two chemical treatments one month apart but it didn't touch them and in the meanwhile they got firmly established on her. After hearing about this kind of flea zapper from a friend I decided to give it a try.
It's worth being aware that the Flea Zapper makes a mild continuous high pitched noise when switched on (until you hit a flea). So if your cat is particularly nervous then be aware that they must let you groom it through their fur whilst this irritating noise is in progress. My cat is a nervous cat and it took her a while to trust me to use it. Once I was able to, I eliminated 5 big fleas over the course of as many days. The first three looked zapped dead, the other two stunned, but easy to dispose of. I think she may have one remaining but if it is there then it's living on her belly and I'm not prepared to get lacerated to attempt this area. I'm combing her daily and if it moves elsewhere I'll get it!
I'm so glad I discovered this amazing device! If I comb her regularly my hope is to be able to ditch the chemical treatments in the future and in which case it will save money as well as being benefitial to her health as I was never happy to put chemicals on her in the first place.Read full review
