Nice Printer, Easy to Set Up, Acceptable Print Quality

Easy to set up and wirelessly connect to our home WiFi and our computers and phones which required installing the drivers on the computers and the app on the phones.
The print quality is not as crisp as I hoped but it's acceptable.
I've had jamming problems with printing envelopes but they were fairly easy to clear and I was actually able to use the jammed envelopes after straightening them.
It leaves small ink smudges on envelopes because they are stiffer and thicker than regular paper (see picture). But I printed about 120 envelopes and only had jamming with about 8 and smudges on about 15.
Not sure how long the initial ink cartridges will last, so far in addition to the 120 envelopes mentioned, I've printed about 60 8-1/2 x 11 pages and the ink is still going. I've ordered a set of new cartridges knowing these originals don't have as much ink as a normal cartridge according to the documentation. The set of standard cartridges (one of each color) cost $45 or more, no one had it for less.

Epson Printer xp-5100 Wireless

The printer, cartridges, power cable CD for instructions were helpful ... The wireless is great in fact I have a Epson ET3700 and when I pressed print on the upstairs printer the downstairs printer pick up the command.
Warning becareful if your printing private papers they might end up else in your house when have 2 Epsons wireless.

Great home 3-in-one - all the features of my old Epson and more

Was looking for a replacement for an aging Epson RX500 and this has all the same features I relied on plus more. Smaller footprint than the old Epson. Love the two-sided printing option.

Printing is hard work

still have not been able to get it hooked to Wi-Fi. Very difficult to use the led screen character's to connect. Should not have to be a brain surgeon to do that or place Wi-Fi. The black in is a little gray, will probably have to adjust it manually. Epson needs to have everything working out of the box with minimum setup.

printer good, Comcast modem an issue

Had trouble with Comcast modem not letting the printer do its job. Got it working once and now it will not print because Comcast reset modem due to an unrelated issue. Will be talking sith Comcast soon.
