The Epson LQ series printers are good quality products. The LQ990 appears to be the last one which can run on earlier platforms than XP so if you are running an older Windows be sure to order an LQ590 without a suffix.
Also, if printing on a short sheet, be sure it comes with the Paper Eject Rollers - ours did not and it is sometimes essential.Read full review
