It is an excellent scanner, easy to use and set-up. It is for home use for saving pictures etc., have not tried the other functions, but I will . . . . over all a very good purchase.

Nice and compact

Easy set up. Also had to install driver CD. Scanning was okay but it sounds like it zig-zags when copying and takes too long, even to do one page. I'll eventually try using again.

Epson Perfection V39 photo Scanner

The devise will not install automatically under Win-7 or Win-10. It requires that you run the included Setup CD. The CD software installs it instantly. Win-10 has a special Scanner interface gizmo which appears on the task bar. Scanner gizmo works with this Epson scanner. It is also convenient that it uses only an USB connection, so no power cord is required. It is also very thin. The V39 model includes OCR software, but I hae not tried it yet.Read full review

Does the job in Window's 10

I needed a scanner that works with Windows 10 because our old Cannon scanner was not compatible with W's 10. So far, it does everything I need it for when running Corel's Paint Shop Pro. However, I haven't really explored the possibilities.Read full review

Great value.

I am glad I bought this product. It takes up little space (it fits on top of my desktop, which is lying sideways on my desk) and works as expected. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a power on/off switch.

Worth the money to me.

Nice, inexpensive little scanner with good software. I don't like the fact that the scanner won't stand vertically but that's tolerable.

Good Scanner for the Price

This scanner isn't the right tool for serious photographers/photo editors. But, at this price point, it does a fine job with documents and a good job with photo prints.
