Great scanner
Idk much about scanners generally, but this one is doing everything I need and want, and its doing automatically. You just plug it in and start scanning. I started out scanning 1 pic at a time, then I placed several pics on scanner, thinking it was gona scan them all as 1 pic, to my surprise, it auto recognizes multiple pics, and scans them separately.Read full review

This scanner is a great value
I'm very happy with my Epson V39. I purchased it to archive and repair the contrast on a collection of old family photos. So far I've been really happy with the results. I still need to purchase software. But the scan results so far are very crisp and sharp. I like that it runs off the power in the USB port. Scaned two pictures and never worked again
I bought this to scan a bunch of old pictures got it set up and it lasted for two pictures took me more time to box it up and take it to UPS will never buy from again or own a Epson product again.

Cannot get it to work
I have downloaded the program for this contraption 4 times and it always tells me that there is something wrong with the program and refuses to work. It hasn't worked since I've owned it.
