Good value but enclosure flimsy.
Just fitted this product and light output and emergency operation seems as specified. Very easy to drill the enclosure, which is not entirely rigid, and fit wiring but slightly difficult to work on fixings and connections with the backplate hanging from the end dowel pins.
In one of the fittings delivered, the backplate had not been fitted to the end pvc dowel pins of the enclosure and on both fittings it was very difficult to both remove and replace the backplate to make the wiring installation easier. The dowel pins are too long to enable the backplate to be easily mounted and dismounted from the enclosure.
Even with the above difficulty it is initially good value for the price. The units have 2 years warranty but the warranty excludes the battery which is classed as a consumable. This fact could mean that more frequent 3 hour emergency operation tests should be considered.Read full review...

The push/click electrical fittings did not work
