Takes mystery out of midi muddle
Makes the fcb1010 use able . Very easy to program for midi novice with great different modes of use preprogrammed. I use fave patches to access 10 user patches directly on my tc nova system plus expression . This has now made my nova as good as the g system . Very happy .Read full review

EurekaPROM3 - best add on item ever.
This item is quick & easy to install & set-up. Best item u could add to ur FCB-1010, no more having to run thru all the midi stuff simply install chip, turn it on & set a couple things & within 2 mins ur up & running with what ever processor you r using. It comes with stickers to match the processor u r using. I use an Avid 11 & V-amp Pro Bass for the studio which switching the programing for the processors takes about 5 seconds & with the stickers u know what the pedals represent, then for live shows I use the Avid 11 thru a Hartke Model 7000 & I have total control plus I run an external effects pedal board with 6 pedals. The price is only 35.00 well worth the money for easy of use & the ability to use on some many different items. Best part is u have 4 different settings Effects - which all pedals become effects pedals. Presets - they r what they say they r. Favorite Presets - u can pick 10 & assign them to whatever pedal u want. SPecials - this is the best u use the top 5 pedals to assign a FP then use the bottom 4 pedals to control the effects & pedal 5 turns on the wah pedal. So with that u have 5 different rigs behind u coming thru 1 amp, control of 5 effects pedals with 5 switching between FX1 or wah then a volume pedal with the option of running an external effects pedal board all at ur feet. For 35.00 & 20 minutes of ur time u r going to be so pleased with this simple little chip just be careful with the legs they look bent out on 1 side i pushed mine in a little but it looked like they rolled in on 1 side when putting it into holder but easy to do it takes longer to take screws out & put back then it does to do anything else. I put some pics of the equipment that Proper Addiction uses that I mentioned above. 1 more thing I havent tried yet but was told u can use the midi board for recording software I use ProTools on my system but other software for midi equipment which im looking into right now.Read full review

Eureka Prom 3 for Rack eleven.
This is a great product. the online videos made fitting the chip relatively easy - a few initial issues were down to my not locating the pins correctly - but this was easily put right with second attempt. Great mod for FCB1010
If you are running a multi-fx unit that doesn't come with it's own midi footcontroller, the FCB1010 plus the EurekaProm mod is the easiest set up ever. Dead easy to install the chip and set up for your modeller/unit of choice. I am using an Eleven Rack, and it took me a grand total of 20 minutes to install the new Eprom, connect to my 11r and start using. Absolutely recommend this for anyone using an 11r or wanting to use an FCB1010 to control their rig!Read full review

Would have been nice if it came with a print.out of what exactly each button does..
Would have been nice if it came with a print out of exactly what each button does in each mode... how hard would it be in include a print out...? Instead you have to hit each pedal to see whats what. And spend a lot of time trying to figure out what's what.. randomly switching things on off/ switching modes. I still don't know how to use it other then a few basic features. Read full review

Painless Programing
Eprom worked great right out of the package, arrived very fast too, my only problem is the wah is not accessible in preset mode when using with my eleven rack. So I have to click into effects mode to use the wah. Overall works great and takes the pain out of programing the FCB1010.Read full review

Works pretty well 95% of the time
Works fine most of the time but have had issues when changing patch a couple of times.
Instead of changing to leadtone that i have programmed to patch2 i got a complete different patch. When i press once again i get the real patch.
It have happened to me 3 times now since i bought it.
