Good Lawn Treatment Spreader

Replaced my wheel driven spreader, which had cracked in many places, with the Wizz.
Pros: easy to use, supplied with Duracell batteries so ready to use. Adjustable for various applications. Easy to clean and stow. Can be used to apply rock salt to icy driveways.
Cons Adjustment for changing applications requires trial and era to get reasonable spray of feeder etc. Getting even ground coverage without over spray takes some use to achieve.

Considering I don’t have to physically wind it myself then it is really good for bigger jobs.

I’ve only tried it on light materials,not sure how it will cope with heavier ingredients.

Moss killer/ferrous sulphate spreader.

I needed something to spread moss killer grains on a 250 SqMtr lawn and found most spreaders only suitable for a single product made by the same company or too big and expensive for occasional use. This is spreads well and adjusts to suit different size materials. Batteries still going when finished and not too heavy to hold, used 20 SqM material at a time. Advise spread on a wind free day and check rate of feed by spreading on a plastic sheet and checking weight.Read full review
