Good for greys but could be very expensive for black
I bought this colour to create greys and not black. This has worked out well by being accurate with all materials so you know what you have done and can repeat it. Toolstation normally stock this item but have had supply issues. It is about £3 cheaper if you can get it there.Read full review...

Dried to light! Silver/blue/grey.. not black at all
Very dark when mixed in with the wet mortar but drys to a light silvery grey cement type colour not black at all very dissapointed with the dried product despite being careful about mixing ratios and mixing it to the highest stated ratio to try and acieve that black colour.. granted i used lime based cement which is advised against on the tin.. but it is near impossible to get cement which is not lime based!!!!! I do not think that you would be disappointed with the results that you can achieve with this product. I have used the Black dye and if you mix it in larger quantities it really is the colour of tar!
