I purchased this show for my husband who found it quite entertaining. Years ago when it was in prime-time, my best friend would constantly tell me to watch it because she said it reminded her of all the stories I told her about growing up in Queens, New York. She was absolutely right. After watching one episode I found myself cracking up at how parallel Chris Rock's childhood was to mine. It is a cute, hilariously funny show about family, friends and the colorful characters in 80's New York. I'm glad this is a show my husband and I can watch together. (There are very few, trust me.) Everybody Hates Chris is as timeless as The Jeffersons, Good Times, What's Happening etc. If you want to laugh this will work. This show is a winner.Read full review...
