It Was Okay

The book is interesting but was much smaller and beat up than expected. I had purchased another book about Eva Peron at the same time and it was big, hardcover, and in excellent condition and I purchased them for about the same price. Nevertheless, I was a bit disappointed when they both arrived on the same day and there was such a big difference between the two.Read full review

A fascinating read that brings insight into the movie, "Evita"

This is the history of Eva Duarte Peron, the basis of the Broadway musical and movie, Evita. The telling of Buenos Aires and Evita's life is compelling and brings insight and a greater understanding of the movie and Eva Peron's life. I have not finished reading the book, but it is a very interesting read on what Buenos Aires was like in the 1930s, 40s, and 50s. I highly recommend this book. It is not technical and easily readable.Read full review
