Purchased a Ewbank as my mom had one years ago and it was of great quality worked well but standards have dropped as well as price the sweeper brush is of poor quality stops short of wheels so maximum sweep width of 9" is not achieved at best you get 7" of sweep width and won't sweep closer than 2" to skirting board or furniture .it has difficulty picking anything up on tiled or laminate floors.Read full review

The sweeper works very well and is ideal if you don't want to get the vacuum out. The only gripe I have is that the top section of the handle keeps coming out. The fitment in the top of the middle section come out if you pull backwards too hard. The sweeper was easy to assemble. It is lightweight but well made and it picks up pet hairs - even those left behind after vacuuming! Drawers are easy to empty. This is a replacement for my previous Ewbank Speedsweep which lasted over 6 years of daily use.
