Exhaust Muffler Flowmaster 12014310

This muffler is not cheap, but I believe it is a superior product.

This muffler seems to be working very well installed on my Ford diesel tractor (4 cylinder, 2.3 liter). I had to custom fabricate a connecting elbow between the exhaust manifold and this new muffler because the original muffler had a slightly smaller diameter connecting elbow. This new muffler was the smallest diameter available, at 2". However, it seems to work well in smoothing out the exhaust noise (compared to the harsh ear shattering noise of the old muffler). For performance geeks, this muffler has a raspy, throaty sound when revving the engine. An added benefit is the cool shell technology which results in the muffler's exterior being a cooler temperature than what I believe you would experience on a standard muffler.Read full review
