There's more to a car battery than meets the eye folks. The higher the AH the longer it holds its charge, so if, like us, you just use your fave vehicle on weekends, then your battery will still be raring to go on a Saturday morning.

my new exide heavy duty battery
as always exide batteries are around the best that you can buy ,it does have lots of power to start my diesel 2 litre with ease in this icy weather that we have at the moment .Its so nice to hit the key and spin the the engine over nice and fast ,as a mechanic i do need my own car to start well as it would be embarrassing if it didn't start ,what would my neighbors think of my skill level if they saw that my car did not start .I don't think that they would ever ask for my advice or trust my opinion do you .Read full review...

Upgrade Exide battery after being impressed by previous Exide battery.
Previous battery in my van was an Exide. It had a hard life but lasted five years or so. This one is slightly more powerful. Great price from batterygroup.

Tough and does what it says on the can
Not the biggest of batteries but it does achieve a good energy density for the money and this offers excellent CCA. The casing is smartly designed and the pair of folding lifting handles is a useful addition.
It uses 'standard' base clamping or top edge fixing that will suit many vehicles. The terminals are set to suit most applications, with the positive terminal to the right, when both terminals are on the long edge closest to you. You MUST check this before ordering.
My terminals allowed sensible clearance for open ended spanners to be utilised easily.
I have had no need to check over charging resistance, but being of a tolerant build technology, unlike Lithium Ion or Nickel Metal Hydride, t am confident that the battery will stand an amp continuously, even when charged.
This is not a battery that needs special upkeep.
I have just been out to my tractor...on which it is installed and which has stood untouched for well over three months, and is now below zero temperature.........and it cracked the big diesel engine into life on the first engine spin.

Powerful and reliable at a great price.
After being messed around by other battery suppliers, I was finally given the correct advice and sold the perfect battery for my car.
Previous batteries were struggling to turn the starter motor even though showing as fully charged .
Once I replaced the battery with the Exide, my car fired up straight away without any messing .
A powerful and perfect battery to compliment the 2008 Saab 9-3 1.9 tid auto.
From now on I will always plum for Exide batteries powerful and reliable at a great price.
