Exiles by Dan Fogelberg (CD, Jun-1987, Epic)

Very Good CD - Fogelberg for the most part is all there.

I love Dan Fogelberg's music since the late 1970s. This CD is very good, but I found only three songs on it that I loved! The rest were good, but not what I would have expected from Dan Fogelberg. I know artists try to change the rhythm and beat to change up their style. But I kept thinking, "This song would be better more of his calibur if he enunciated the words here, put more rhythm there, added a beat here.". There are at least three songs on here that could've been Fogelberg AWESOME if he did that. They were by his OWN standards mediocre. The three that I loved are spectacular and really beautiful. Not really disappointed entirely. Just since he is gone, died too young, and missed, more of his awesomeness is still needed.Read full review
