Very alarming! Accidentally set the alarm off, while trying to fit it on the disc, scared me half to death and left me me with tinnitus for about an hour afterwards. Yes, the alarm is very loud. Comes with a battery pack, but I didn’t realise there was also some batteries within the devise as well, which is why I was so shocked. Fits on the bike perfectly and also comes with a safety strap to fit to the handlebar, so I have the additional reminder not to ride off with it still attached. Read full review...

I've had to remove the battery as it kept going off in the middle of the night. When I opened it up to remove the batteries it was wet from the rain so I'm assuming this is why it kept alarming.
